Afterward, the show’s producer, Velocity Chyaldd invited me to join her for dinner to discuss the show as well as her band, the disturbing and controversial Vulgaras. A few nights later, over strange and delicious animal parts, a photo shoot we’d both been wanting to try out with each other found its way into our conversation. A plan formed, and the following weekend found me hauling my gear out to her home in, of all places, Forest Hills, Queens. Well, put two artists together in a project and things never quite go exactly as planned... sometimes it turns out even better."
